Bringing Early Music to Life in the Bluegrass
Musick's
Company
Composed of talented Kentucky instrumentalists and vocalists from all walks of life, Musick's Company carries out the Center for Old Music's mission of bringing early music to life in the Bluegrass. Since 1977, this ensemble has performed concerts for the public that put the period's vast spectrum of compositions on display.

What We Do
-
Musick's Company primarily performs biannually, hosting a Christmas concert in December and a mid-year concert, typically on a weekend in May or June.
-
Rehearsal periods generally span from September to December for the Christmas concert, and February to May or June for the mid-year concert. We rehearse every Monday from 7:15 pm - 8:45 pm at Crestwood Christian Church. We also meet for a "dress rehearsal" two days prior to the concerts.
Our Company
Musick's Company consists of an ever-growing community of vocalists and instrumentalists who volunteer their time and talents as they're able. If you would like to join our group, click here or reach out to our Director, Joanna Manring (joannamsoprano@gmail.com).
